Michael C. Mecca, P.E.

Michael C. Mecca, P.E. is Assistant Engineering Manager at CECO. He is a graduate of Lafayette College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1990. In 1990, he joined the staff of CECO Associates, Inc. as a Project Engineer. As Assistant Engineering Manager, Mr. Mecca has brought to CECO current civil engineering knowledge with particular emphasis on a variety of computer applications for highway, bridge, site, and environmental work. He has had an opportunity to participate as Junior Engineer and Project Engineer on a wide variety of design applications with particular emphasis on highway engineering and industrial site engineering.

He has successfully completed work on several major interstate restoration projects, a flood control project, wetland mitigation and stormwater management projects, and a large industrial site engineering project.

Mr. Mecca has also participated as a member of CECO's NBIS Bridge Inspection Team performing safety inspection work on over 250 bridges in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He has taken several undergraduate and graduate level courses in Stormwater Management, Wetland Identification and Mitigation, and Flood Plain Mapping and Management at the Penn State University.

He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers and has received official certification as a Bridge Inspector from the National Institute of Certified Engineering Technologies (NICET).
